Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kavieng

Arrive in Kavieng from Port Moresby and receive a warm airport welcome followed by a brief orientation. After settling in, explore the vibrant Kavieng Market where visitors can see traditional crafts, bilums, and shell jewelry made by local artisans. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing sunset walk along the beautiful Kavieng coastline before overnight at a hotel or guesthouse..

Day 2Kavieng Town and WWII History

Spend the day exploring Kavieng’s historical and cultural attractions. Visit important World War II sites including Japanese bunkers, coastal gun placements, and the remains of wartime airstrips. Continue with a scenic drive around Kavieng Harbour with stops at photo points. Guests may enjoy an optional seafood lunch featuring local specialties such as mud crab before ending the day with cultural storytelling in town

Day 3Boluminski Highway and Inland Village Tour

Travel along the scenic Boluminski Highway towards Namatanai, passing lush landscapes and coastal views. Visit Laraibina Village to observe freshwater eels and experience traditional village life.
