Nassau Shore Excursion: Beaches, Island Highlights & Bahamian Experiences

Meet your ACE representative/driver at or near Prince George Dock, the main cruise gateway in central Nassau. After meeting your guide, board your comfortable vehicle and begin the excursion.

Travel through parts of Nassau and New Providence while your guide introduces the island’s landscape, local life, architecture and history.

Explore the historic Queen’s Staircase and continue toward Fort Fincastle. Guests can take photographs and learn about the area’s connection to Nassau’s colonial history. The staircase is officially described as 65 visible steps today because the lowest step is covered by the paved pathway.

Continue into downtown Nassau for free time around Bay Street and the Straw Market. Browse locally made straw crafts, souvenirs and other Bahamian products.

Head west to Cable Beach for the relaxing portion of the excursion. Enjoy time on the sandy beach, take photographs, walk along the shoreline or simply relax beside the Caribbean waters. Cable Beach stretches for approximately 2.5 miles along Nassau’s western coastline and is known for its sand and clear waters.

Leave Cable Beach and return to central Nassau. The excursion ends at Prince George Dock, allowing cruise passengers to continue their day onboard.
