Arrive at Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas and transfer to your hotel in Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook, depending on your preference. After check-in, spend your afternoon exploring the historic district of Charlotte Amalie, known for its colonial architecture and duty-free shops. Visit Blackbeard’s Castle or relax at Magens Bay, one of the most famous beaches in the Caribbean. In the evening, enjoy a sunset dinner overlooking the harbor at Oceana Restaurant before settling in for a restful night
Begin your day with a scenic ride up to Paradise Point for panoramic views, then head to Sapphire Beach for swimming or snorkeling. After a relaxing morning, take the ferry from Red Hook to Cruz Bay on the island of St. John, just a 20-minute ride across turquoise waters. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and explore the laid-back charm of Cruz Bay. Enjoy dinner at one of the beachside restaurants and watch the sun set into the sea
Spend the full day exploring the natural beauty of St. John, much of which is protected as Virgin Islands National Park. Begin with a hike along the Reef Bay Trail or explore the sugar plantation ruins. Then spend your afternoon snorkeling at Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay, where coral reefs and marine life await just offshore. In the evening, unwind with drinks and live music at The Beach Bar or hop on an optional sunset catamaran cruise for a magical view of the island from the sea.
After breakfast, prepare for your boat transfer from St. John to Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. Depending on your choice, you can take a public ferry or arrange a private charter. After clearing customs and immigration, arrive in Road Town and check in at your hotel or villa near Cane Garden Bay. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or exploring the lush landscapes of Tortola. As the sun sets, enjoy dinner and music at Quito’s Gazebo, a popular beachfront spot.
Today, take a morning ferry from Road Town to Virgin Gorda. Your main destination is The Baths, a world-renowned natural wonder made of giant granite boulders forming tide pools, tunnels, and hidden beaches. Hike through the grottoes to Devil’s Bay, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. After a beachfront lunch, you can also visit Spring Bay or explore Spanish Town before taking the return ferry back to Tortola in the late afternoon. Enjoy a quiet evening back at your accommodation.
Board a charter or ferry in the morning for a day trip to Jost Van Dyke, a tiny island with a legendary party atmosphere and pristine beaches. Spend the day relaxing at White Bay, sipping a Painkiller cocktail at the Soggy Dollar Bar, and swimming in crystal-clear water. Later, make your way to Great Harbour to visit Foxy’s, another island institution famous for its laid-back vibe and BBQ lunches. Optionally, hike to the Bubbly Pool, a natural rock formation that creates a jacuzzi effect when waves rush in. Return to Tortola for the night.
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Tortola with time for one last beach visit to Smuggler’s Cove or a scenic stroll through Road Town. In the afternoon, take the ferry back to St. Thomas, remembering to clear customs as you re-enter the U.S. Virgin Islands. Once back in St. Thomas, check into a hotel for your final days. Spend the evening enjoying local cuisine—perhaps try Caribbean Fish Market or another seaside spot offering fresh seafood and cocktails.
This day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. If you’re up for adventure, consider kayaking through the mangroves of the East End Lagoon or book a scuba diving trip to explore coral reefs or shipwrecks. Alternatively, take the day to shop, get a massage, or lounge at Lindquist or Secret Harbour Beach. No matter what you choose, cap off the day with a casual sunset dinner or beach bonfire, enjoying the slower rhythm of island life.
Embark on a full-day sailing excursion aboard a catamaran, exploring some of the best snorkeling spots around St. Thomas and nearby cays such as Buck Island or Christmas Cove. Enjoy snorkeling with sea turtles, tropical fish, and colorful corals in calm, clear waters. Lunch is usually served onboard or at a floating bar like Pizza Pi. Spend the afternoon sunbathing on deck or swimming before returning to port. Enjoy a final celebratory dinner in Red Hook to toast the end of your adventure.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Cyril E. King Airport for your flight home. Be sure to arrive at least 2–3 hours early to clear security and customs. Take one last look at the Caribbean Sea and cherish the memories of ten unforgettable days exploring the best of the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.
