Milne Bay Cultural and Island Adventure Tour

Arrive in Alotau, the capital of Milne Bay Province. After arrival, visitors explore the town, local markets, and the scenic waterfront. The second day is dedicated to the famous Kenu and Kundu Canoe Festival. Visitors watch traditional canoe racing across the waters of Milne Bay while local groups perform energetic kundu drum music and Wagawaga sing-sing dances. The festival also features colorful costumes, mask displays, storytelling, local food stalls, and handicraft markets

On this day, travelers visit villages such as Gadudu, Boianai, or Wagawaga. Guests participate in traditional cooking and sago preparation, learn about oral history from village elders, and try hands-on activities like weaving and craft making. In the evening, visitors enjoy a traditional sing-sing dance performance, with the option of staying overnight in a village homestay
