Arrive in Belize City, the country’s main gateway, where you can explore its colonial history and coastal charm. Visit the Belize Museum to understand the nation’s cultural roots, stroll along the waterfront, and enjoy authentic Caribbean cuisine. If time allows, the Belize Zoo offers an excellent introduction to the country’s native wildlife in a natural setting.
Travel inland to visit the impressive Altun Ha Maya Ruins, once an important ceremonial center of the ancient Maya civilization. After exploring the temples and pyramids, continue to San Ignacio, a lively town surrounded by jungle landscapes and known as the adventure capital of Belize.
Begin the day at Xunantunich Archaeological Site, where the towering El Castillo pyramid offers panoramic views over the Mopan River valley. In the afternoon, enjoy thrilling cave experiences such as cave tubing or the famous Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave, where ancient Maya artifacts and crystal formations create a unique underground adventure.
Venture deep into the jungle to explore Caracol, the largest Maya site in Belize, rich with history and massive stone structures. Continue to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, home to stunning natural attractions such as Rio Frio Cave and Big Rock Falls, where waterfalls and limestone caves create a scenic escape.
Travel south toward the coast with a stop at the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, the world’s first jaguar preserve, offering hiking trails through dense rainforest. Later, arrive in Placencia, a charming beach destination known for its laid-back atmosphere, sandy beaches, and Caribbean sunsets.
Spend the day exploring the Belize Barrier Reef, one of the largest reef systems in the world. Snorkel or dive among colorful coral gardens, tropical fish, sea turtles, and rays. Popular marine spots include Silk Cayes and Hol Chan Marine Reserve, offering some of the best underwater experiences in the Caribbean.
Transfer to the relaxed island of Caye Caulker, famous for its motto “Go Slow.” Enjoy beach life, explore The Split, or take optional excursions to the iconic Great Blue Hole, a world-renowned diving and aerial sightseeing destination surrounded by deep blue ocean waters
