After breakfast, you will be transported to the historic Fort Charlotte. You will have an hour’s experience in the 200-year-old dungeons. At the top of the Fort, you will experience the uninterrupted views of the Nassau Harbor before proceeding to Fort Fincastle. At Fort Fincastle, you will see the majestic cannons that were built to be used against pirates. You can take pictures of New Providence at Fort Fincastle, the highest point above the water on the Island. You will also marvel in the historic 102-foot, hand-carved Queen’s Staircase that gives access to the top of the Fort. From here, you will proceed to Montagu and learn about its rich history and involvement with the United States Marine Corps. After 3 hours of exploring the Fort, you will proceed to the Adrastea Garden and Zoo to meet and greet with the flamingos. The kids will have an up-close experience with the pink birds and take pictures of and with the birds. From here, you will proceed for lunch before a fun-filled afternoon water experience. After lunch, you will proceed to the Atlantis Aquaventure on Paradise Island. Here, your kids will marvel in the kids’ swimming pool while the adults sample the unique 50-foot water slide. For more thrill, you will sample the 120-foot-long water-filled body slide. The fun will continue at the 6-story Mayan temple to sample the corkscrew-shaped serpent slide, where the gushing slide leads into a lagoon that offers an up-close experience with the sharks. The kids will have memorable fun at the lazy river where they can take a ride in inflatables. After 2 hours at Aquaventure, you can take a stroll to the nearby Paradise beach for more family activities, such as the sandcastle building. You
