Arrival at Bonefish Pond National Park

Arrive at the protected wetland area and receive a short introduction to the park, its mangrove ecosystem and responsible wildlife-viewing guidelines.

    Mangrove Boardwalk Exploration

Follow the boardwalk into the mangrove wetland. Your guide explains the role of mangroves in coastal protection and their importance as habitat and nursery grounds for marine life. The park is recognized as an important educational site for understanding Bahamian wetlands.

    Bird & Wildlife Observation

Spend time quietly observing the wetland environment for birds, fish and other wildlife. Bonefish Pond can provide opportunities to see more than 50 bird species, with conditions and seasonal sightings varying throughout the year.

    Mangrove & Marine Life Discovery

    Important Information

    • Consider the destination’s actual geography, attractions, culture, wildlife, beaches, history and tourism activities.
    • Avoid creating a tour that is simply a duplicate of an obvious existing tour.
    • Look for opportunities to create a more specific experience, combination, audience-focused tour or underserved search intent.
    • Make the tour commercially attractive and realistic for the destination.
    • Do not invent specific businesses, hotels, restaurants, cruise ports, attractions, activities or services unless they are genuinely associated with the destination or have been provided in the brief.
    • Do not force an activity into a destination simply because it is an SEO keyword.
    • The destination must be the primary focus of the product.
    • The tour should fit naturally into one of ACE’s existing categories.
