Arrive in Montserrat and meet your local representative for transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some time to relax, begin your island experience with a visit to the Montserrat National Museum, learning about the island’s history, culture and heritage. Continue to Little Bay, Montserrat’s main tourism and marine center, before visiting the Montserrat National Trust and its botanical garden. After breakfast, embark on a guided excursion to the spectacular Soufrière Hills Volcano. Visit the Montserrat Volcano Observatory to learn about the island’s volcanic history and the ongoing monitoring of the volcano. Continue to the authorized viewing areas overlooking Plymouth, Montserrat’s former capital, which was buried by volcanic ash and debris following the eruptions of the 1990s. Visit Garibaldi Hill for impressive panoramic views of the volcanic zone, Plymouth and the surrounding coastline. In the afternoon, relax at your hotel or enjoy optional activities around Little Bay. After breakfast, travel to Rendezvous Beach, Montserrat’s only white-sand beach. Enjoy a relaxing morning swimming, snorkeling or simply taking in the Caribbean scenery. Depending on conditions, the beach can be reached by hiking trail or by boat. Return to your hotel, collect your luggage and transfer to the ferry terminal or airport for your onward journey.
